NAME

changelist - go through a changelist of url updates applying them

DESCRIPTION

The fundamental link change notification looks something like this

  BeginLinkChange1

  Original: http://www.goober.com/fred/

  New: http://www.goooober.com/wilma/

  End

That is a bunch of Usenet/internet mail style headers sandwiched between a start and end token.

Note that there are other possible fields (any value). Reserved ones include:-

Time - the time the change took place

  ContentSummary - mechanical content summary

Description - explanation of why the change took place

Signature - PGP siguatures of all fields other than the signature its self.

New versions of the format (signified by a new number at the end of the start token) can be completely different and no attempt should be made to parse an unrecognised one.

Versions which are backwards compatible will be signalled by having a minor version number at the end of the major version

  BeginLinkChange1

  Original: http://www.goober.com/fred/

  New: http://www.goooober.com/wilma/

  End

These should be parsed, but any extra fields should be ignored. In later major versions, the correct action in this case could change.
